OurCrossword is a product of EMSERO LLC. Contact: hello@ourcrossword.com.
You can build a custom crossword from your own words, or use the optional automated helpers that draft clues and theme suggestions for you to approve. After you approve the puzzle, you pay once for a shareable solving link and a print-ready PDF. A criss-cross is $14; an American 15×15 is $49. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay. There is no subscription.
Payments run on Stripe Checkout. We do not see your full card number.
What you are paying for
Building a grid and previewing it is free. What you pay for is the hosted shareable link, the print page, and the downloadable PDF — payment is what makes those work for the person you send them to.
Delivery
The shareable link, print page, and PDF unlock as soon as payment succeeds — no account to create. If you enter a gift recipient and a future date and time at checkout, we still unlock the puzzle for you immediately and email the recipient at that time. A date without a time is sent at 9:00 AM Eastern. A missing or past date sends that email right away. By paying you are asking for that delivery.
Refunds
If something is wrong — payment went through but the puzzle did not unlock, the link, print page, or PDF does not work, or you were charged more than once — email hello@ourcrossword.com within 14 days and we will refund you in full. We do not generally refund simply because you changed your mind about the words you chose, since you approve the puzzle before paying and can preview it for free beforehand.
You are responsible for the words and clues you submit. Do not submit anything you do not have the right to use.
We store the puzzle so the link, print page, and PDF can load. We may remove a puzzle that is unlawful or abusive.
