OurCrossword is made by EMSERO LLC. It lets you make a custom crossword and share it as a link, a print page, and a PDF.
We store the puzzle you create — title, words, clues, and the grid — so the shareable player, print page, and PDF can load. If you pay, Stripe processes the payment. We keep the email address you gave Stripe so we can send your links and answer support requests. If you send the puzzle as a gift, we also keep the recipient address and optional message you entered at checkout, and Resend delivers those emails. Optional clue and theme helpers, and a content check before anything is stored for print, run through Anthropic. None of that is shown to anyone who opens the puzzle link, and it is deleted with the puzzle. We do not run ads. We do not sell your data.
An unpaid draft is deleted automatically after 30 days. A paid puzzle is kept indefinitely, since the whole point is a link that keeps working — we delete one on request; email us and include the link.
